Provenance:
Formerly located Phillips Park, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania until 1967.
Remarks:
City archives do not have any acquisition records on this piece. It was in storage until sometime after 1928 when it was moved to the Phillips Park location by the Mother's Club of Carrick which was located across the street from the park. When they lost their headquarters in 1963 the piece was installed near their new location on Overbrook Boulevard with city cooperation.
