    Description: 
    A non-objective sculpture comprised of three elements. The center element is a ring-shape, turned at a forty five degree angle from the front edge of the base and standing on its edge. The two flanking elements are curved spires that taper towards the top. One of the spires is narrower and taller than the other. The three elements are mounted on a flat sheet of steel which serves as a plinth. The plinth is then mounted on a base of brick and mortar. The sculpture was originally painted an industrial green, but is now painted a light gray.

    Remarks: 
    Inscription on time capsule plaque, in front of sculpture, reads: Here Rests An ESOP Time Capsule/To Be Opened/October 6, 2037/Dedicated To/Employee - Owners? Of/Weirton Steel Corporation/October 6, 1987. IAS files contain a letter from the artist regarding the sculpture. This piece done to commemorate the process and cooperation involved in transferring the ownership of the company from coporate ownership to the employees. To raise the necessary funds for the company buyout, annual food fairs and craft shows were held. The artist donated his services over a three day period to create and erect the piece. Weirton provided the material and fabrication assistance. A numbered edition of 50 pewter miniatures of this piece were sold and the profits were donated to the cause.
