Inscription:  (On lower left hand corner:) (artist's monogram) (At top of plaque, raised:) 1976 1776 (At lower section of plaque, raised:) MILFORD AMERICAN REVOLUTION/BICENTENNIAL OBSERVANCE/COMMISSION (In lower right hand corner opposite artist's monogram, raised:) "8/76" signed Description:  A circular plaque with a number of figures and architectural elements affixed to an exterior wall of Milford City Hall. At the left of the plaque, the figures and heads of nine figures are grouped together. In the center of the plaque, the figures of a woman, a child, and a man stand dressed in 18th century attire. The man holds an open scrolled document. Above these figures is an image of the town's 19th century Memorial Bridge. At the man's right is a sailing vessel. Below the figures is the plaque's inscription.
