    Description: 
    Male nude figure seated in a yoga-like position. His proper left knee is bent horizontally with the foot under his proper right thigh. His proper right leg is bent vertically with the foot resting on the ground. His proper right hand holds his proper right ankle. His proper left hand is propped on his proper right knee. His head is bent towards the upright knee and he gazes off to the proper left. The ferro-cement sculpture is placed on a brick base.

    Remarks: 
    Ricker created the sculpture for a class taught by Morton, who assisted with the casting. The sculpture was one of two works from the class to be installed on campus. The design and labor for the sculpture were donated by the artist; the materials were paid for by the college. Cost of the sculpture was under $100. IAS files contain copy of related excerpt from David Ruell's unpublished manuscript "The Public Sculpture of New Hampshire", Concord: New Hampshire Historical Society, 1980, pg. 308-309.
