    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was commissioned by the Sausalito Foundation and the Friends of the Festival in honor of the city's centennial. Cost of the sculpture was $25,000. The Foundation funded the base and the Friends funded the fabrication costs. Nearby plaques list the names of individual donors. Olsen and Schwartz assisted with the site planning; Rich acted as contractor. The title of the sculpture is a Portuguese word meaning "close to the wind". IAS files contain copies of related articles from Marin Scope (Sausalito, CA), Oct. 5 and Nov. 23-29, 1993.
