Description:
Five steel I-beam figures with cutout faces represent a family. In the center is the father, with the mother on his proper left and two children on his proper right. By the mother's proper left side is a child. The torsos have brass and stainless steel elements welded to them is a decorative arrangement. The sculpture is mounted upon a rectangular base.

Remarks:
The artist died before the sculpture was completed, and his son, Thomas A. Remeley, worked with the fabrication supervisor, Frederick Gilmartin, and the welding supervisor, Seaton Holt, to complete the work. The sculpture was commissioned by Reese Jones of First Valley Bank in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It was originally installed in front of the bank before being relocated to its current site in 1976. The figures were originally designed to have stained-glass faces.
