Description:
Beginning with a seated Indian with a headdress beating a drum at the bottom, the totem depicts a series of historical events with ships, buildings, and figures spiraling upwards. At the top is depicted the "Spirit of St. Louis" airplane and the space shuttle under an eagle with spread wings. The totem is within a hexagonal border made from cedar timbers, enclosing wood chips.
