    Description: 
    A figure of Christopher Columbus, dressed in period costume of the 15th century including a hat, stands holding a map with his proper right hand and a navigational device called an astrolabe over his proper left hip. The figure is placed atop an inscribed and decorated base.

    Remarks: 
    Commissioned by the Little Italy Retirees Club for $21,000 and presented to the Little Italy community by the Retirees Club and generous donors. The sculpture was designed and sculpted by Louis Regalbuto with the assistance of Theodor Seroie of Kotecki Monuments.
