    Remarks:
The sculpture was created in 1986 for a float commemorating the Statue of Liberty's centennial in Hyde Park's 1986 Independence Day parade. It was created with structural assistance from Michael Dupilka. Since the parade, the sculpture has been moved several times. In the summer of 1986, it was located at Rogers Point Boating Club on the east bank of the Hudson River (Hyde Park). From Nov. 1986 to May 1987, it was on view at Hyde Park Town Hall; then back at Rogers Point; and in Sept. 1987 was exhibited at the Poughkeepsie Art Festival. After that, it was moved to the artist's home, before its current placement at the Veterans Center in April 1988. Images on file with IAS show work at Rogers Point and at Veterans Center. IAS files contain related newsclippings.
