    Remarks:
Relief commemorates J.C. Nichols (1880-1950), an influential Kansas City developer. The relief is apparently based on an editorial cartoon that appeared in the Kansas City Star following Nichols' death in 1950.
In 2004, Kansas City Adopt A Monument reported that all sculptures owned by the J. C. Nichols company should be changed to Highwoods Property.
