    Remarks:
The Bank of Las Vegas (originally First National Bank) constructed the building after absorbing the San Miguel Bank in 1920. The new building was constructed in 1921-1922 after a design by Rapp and Rapp. The sandstone was cut, carved and polished in St. Louis, Missouri; then shipped to Las Vegas where it was assembled by local masons. IAS files contain an excerpt from Chris Wilson's "Architecture and Preservation in Las Vegas II," (Las Vegas C.C.H.P.), pg. 120.
