(15 tons). Description:  An environmental sculpture consisting of a pond planted with vegetation, including lily pads and water irises, and surrounded by herbs, shrubs, plants and trees. Shale and limestone form a ledge on one end of the pond that may be used for resting. Site for the pond had originally been dug as a water pit to put out fires when the campus was the site of several chicken barns. From the Blue Rock quarry in Sidney, artist picked eleven pieces of shale and limestone totalling fifteen tons.
