Inscription:  (On bronze medallion:) PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES/FRANKLIN/DELANO/ROOSEVELT (Below the medallion:) ROOSEVELT/APRIL 9, 1936/NOV. 25, 1937 (On bottom right of medallion:) JSR (On bronze plaque on back of sculpture:) JOINT RESOLUTION/(inscriptions of the resolution recognizing Roosevelt's help to Gainesville after a devastating tornado) signed Description:  A bronze medallion with relief bust of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and inscriptions affixed to a large marble block. This center block is flanked on either side by two lower marble blocks. The sculpture sits on a base of large marble blocks mortared together.
