    Description: 
    Full-length figure of a Vietnam War soldier. He wears a uniform including helmet, short-sleeved shirt, trousers and lace-up boots. An ammunition cartridge is strapped diagonally across his chest. His proper left thumb is tucked into his belt. He holds a rifle against his proper right leg; the butt of the gun rests on the ground near his foot. His eyes are closed. The granite sculpture stands on a plain rectangular base.
