Remarks:
Eric Fotiadi was the structural engineer for this work. The stone was obtained from Pyramid Granite in El Cajon, California. The cost was $14,190. IAS files contain article from San Diego Tribune (San Diego, CA), March 1, 1989, and a statement by the artist about the work. According to the artist, the sculpture "depicts the act of a group reaching out to an individual that is in need of help."
