    Remarks: 
    The eagles were carved by Albert S. Corwin of the firm Purdy & Hutcheson. The eagles are too high up to fully access their condition, but appear to be well maintained. IAS files include excerpts from the book "Minnesota's State Capitol," by Neil B. Thompson and a publication of the State of Minnesota entitled "Minnesota Capitol: Official Guide and History," by Julie C. Gauthier, 1907, revised 1937.
