Inscription:  LDPowers (Small V-like symbol appears over the "w" in the signature) signed Description:  Totem pole which honors the salmon, features from the top down: the moon, the Raven, Fog Woman, Eagle and Bear. The bear is depicted holding mankind. Based on Tlingit legend, Raven created Man, and his wife Fog Woman created salmon to feed him. The moon governs the tides and Eagle and Bear also benefit from salmon.
