    Remarks: 
    The sculptor, a retired professor of fine arts at Sinclair Community College, named the piece after watching it through a progression of the seasons. The College's first piece of outdoor sculpture, it was welded by the sculptor at the Hobart School of Welding Technology in Troy, Ohio. On plaque near base: Rain, Snow, and Sun Catcher/1988/Designed by/Professor, John Polston, retired/A dedication/to people and seasons/as they both come and go. IAS files contain a press release from Sinclair Community College, Dec. 28, 1988; as well as derivative articles from Troy Daily News (Troy, OH), Jan. 6, 1989, and Downtowner, Jan. 11, 1989.
