Description:
The stone is carved in relief with a emblem depicting the state seal of Oklahoma, with letters carved in relief spelling out OKLAHOMA above it. The circular state seal is carved in relief with a star containing a image in the center of a settler and a Native American shaking hands, with a female figure holding the scales of Justice in the background. Each point of the seal's star is inscribed with a different emblem, starting at the top with: the Chicsaw Indian emblem showing a Chicsaw Indian holding a bow and shield; the Cherokee Indian emblem showing a seven-pointed star surrounded by an oak leaf wreath; the Chrook Indian emblem showing a plow and a shaft of wheat; the Chochtaw Indian emblem showing three arrows, a bow, and a tomahawk; and the Seminole Indian emblem showing a Seminole Indian in a canoe with a village in the background. The seal is inscribed with: Labor Omnia Vincit. The outer edge of the state seal in inscribed with GREAT SEAL OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA 1907.

Remarks:
One of 193 commemorative stones set into the interior walls of the Washington Monument. The stones were donated by states, cities, towns, organizations, individuals, and foreign countries in honor of George Washington. The State of Oklahoma donated the stone, which is located at the 290 ft. level.
