    Description: 
    A portrait statue on a pedestal in the middle of a circular platform with a semicircular wall or hemicycle. The statue is a standing male figure wearing a double-breasted overcoat and holding a cane in his proper right hand and a hat in his proper left hand. At the back of the base is hemicycle consisting of a curved wall lined with a bench. Against the back wall of the hemicycle, just above the bench, are two reclining figures, a male and a female, in high relief. One of the figures represents "Inspiration" and one represents "Achievement."
