Located Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Remarks:
The memorial cost $300,000 and was funded by small contributions from almost sixty thousand Westinghouse employees in Pittsburgh and every part of the world. The side reliefs plaques depicting Westinghouse's inventions and accomplishments were created by Paul Fjelde. Originally, all the bronze figures and reliefs were covered in gold leaf. In 1941, however, the gold leaf was ground off after vandals had persistently marred its surfaces.
