Description:
A circular stainless steel monument sand basted with an inscription dedicated to international peace and friendship. The monument is installed in the center of a circular granite foundation with a semicircular concrete bench on one side.

Remarks:
The sculpture, which was privately funded, celebrates over fifty years of international peace and friendship between Arlington, Texas and its sister city, Bad Konigshofen, Germany. The bond of friendship started after the end of World War II, when the citizens of Arlington, Texas provided food and clothing to the citizens of Bad Konigshofen. The monument is a collaborative project between three Bad Konigshofen artists, Eva Luna Warmuth, Peter Picciani, and Christine Wehe-Bamberger, and three Arlington artists, Benito Huerta, Celia Alvarez Munoz, and Nicholas Wood.
