The original cast was stolen in March 1974. A replacement was cast in November 1974 by Avnet-Shaw foundry. IAS files contain article from Courier-Journal (Louisville, KY) April 25, 1975; and copy of Conservation Assessment Inventory dated Nov. 8, 1990 from Venus Bronze Works (Detroit, MI).
