Funded with a National Endowment for the Arts, Art in Public Places grant of $10,076 given in 1975 to the Hudson Valley Community College. The sculpture was sandblasted at Petricca Construction Company, Pittsfield, MA. IAS files contain a newspaper clipping from GAN Press, May 12, 1976, and a March 27, 1976 letter from the artist discussing the fabrication and installation of the sculpture at the college.
