    Description: 
    A Civil War soldier stands holding his rifle horizontally on his proper right side. He wears a slouch hat and has his blanket roll over his proper left shoulder and across his chest. The soldier stands on an inscribed, multitiered base with columns, and four cannonballs on each lower corner. The memorial is atop a multitiered, circular platform.
