Description:
Full-length figure of Mary holding the infant Jesus. She wears long robes and a cloak that covers her head. Her proper right arm is bent in front of her torso and her hand is held palm upward. She holds Jesus face out on her proper left arm. Jesus wears a simple shift with hemmed collar. His proper right arm is raised and two fingers extended in a gesture of blessing. The marble sculpture stands on a base of mortared fieldstone.

Remarks:
The sculpture was fabricated in Italy and was given to the parish by Mr. Amando Comoli. The base was designed by Parfitt, who also designed the church building. The base was constructed by Stefanksi. IAS files contain copy of related church correspondence.
