Remarks:
The sculpture, which was unveiled on what would have been Lucille Ball's 105th birthday, replaces a statue by Dave Poulin that did not resemble the actress. The sculptor Carolyn Palmer won a national competition which attracted more that sixty-five sculptors. The sculpture was funded through private donations.
