    Description: 
    A somewhat abstract reclining figure with legs bent at the knees and back resting on a rock. The figure doesn't have arms, and its head is a very abbreviated shape. The torso is that of a nude female while the legs appear to be fur-covered and the feet end in hoofs. The sculpture is mounted on a rectangular base.

    Remarks: 
    The artist's sister, Callista O'Neill assisted with some of the initial modelling of the sculpture. The sculpture was originally located at Castle Carabas, the artist's Connecticut estate. It was eventually moved to the artist's home in Bonniebrook. The sculpture was given to Bonniebrook Park by Shepherd of the Hills Farm.
    IAS files contain related excerpts from: The Ozark Visitor (Nov.-Dec. 1971), pg. 6-7; The Midwest Motorist (Dec 1973), pg. 5-7. In addition, IAS files contain a pamphlet "Bonniebrook, Home of Rose O'Neill," with information on Bonniebrook Park, listed on the National Historic Register. For additional information see the Bonniebrook Historical Society.
