Inscription:  (Back of base: Founder's mark) unsigned Founder's mark appears. Description:  The sculpture depicts a police officer standing with his proper right hand behind the head of a little girl who is standing at his proper right. The officer's proper left hand is raised. His uniform and weapon are realistically depicted (gun on proper right hip; name tag which reads M. Johnson on proper right chest.) The fingerprints on the officer's hands are those of the artist. The little girl wears a dress and long braids, shoes and socks, and holds a Paddington bear with both arms.
