    An abstract sculpture resembling a tear or a concave wave with a neck-like lower section, attached to the base by a roller bearing which originally allowed the sculpture to spin freely at a touch.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was created as part of an International Sculpture Symposium, organized by local sculptor Mel Fowler to commemorate the United States Bicentennial. Twenty-three sculptors were invited to participate. The sculptures were originally installed at Veterans Park (Myrtle & Main Streets). Because they were subject to vandalism over the years, they were moved in 1987 to their current site at Liberty Hill High School. IAS files contain transcription of a nearby plaque which provides biography of Mel Fowler and gives history of the sculpture garden.
