    Description: 
    Standing male figure of soldier wearing Civil War uniform. Figure stands at ease with both hands holding barrel of rifle. There is a wreath around his proper right wrist. He stands by a tree stump on his proper left side and his proper left foot is forward. He has a canteen on his proper left shoulder. The base is multi-tiered with ornamental edging. Halfway up each side of base is a bronze relief: medallion and eagle with 5-pointed star on south face; canteen and satchel on west face; 2 crossing rifles with bayonets on north face; and 2 crossing swords with wreath on east face.
