Remarks:
Commissioned by Maguire Thomas Partners for $25,000, through the Community Redevelopment Agency's (One Percent for Arts) Public Arts Program. The work was commissioned in 1989; the proposal accepted Dec. 4, 1989. The sculpture was installed in 1990. The sails are suspended from the First Interstate World Center Tower at points corresponding to three landings.
