    Description: 
    Sculpture depicts three male soldiers in uniform and a female nurse. Two of the soldiers are standing and holding their rifles. The soldier in the background holds his rifle in his proper right hand and his proper left hand grasps a flagpole. Flagpole has a flag and an eagle on top with its wings outspread. The second soldier stands in front of the flagpole and holds his rifle in his proper left hand. In the foreground the third soldier reclines on a rock-like formation. A rifle rests against the rocks at his proper right side. A nurse sits facing the soldier on the ground, her legs bend at knee and tuck under. Her upraised proper right hand holds an object. Possibly a water jug, rests by her proper left side on the ground. The ethnicities represented are, a Native American, an Anglo-Saxon, and African American.
