    (On small metal placard on rear of base:) N. K. ART MEMORIAL CO./NEW KENSINGTON, PA (On front of base, incised lettering:) TO THOSE WHO SERVED THE/ARNOLD VOL. FIRE DEPT./A. D. 1959 unsigned Founder's mark appears.
    Description: 
    A rectangular stele featuring an incised line drawing of a firefighter standing in proper right profile with proper left foot forward. He wears a protective helmet, a long fireman's coat, gloves and high boots. He holds a hose with both hands, supporting the nozzle with his proper left hand, and holding the hose with his proper right hand. The hose winds down behind him and around his feet. The stele is mounted on a base of rock-faced granite.
