GHB (On stem, bottom:) Erected to the/memory of/George Hobert Baker/ex-chief OFD/1914 unsigned Description:  Uniformed firefighter stands in a round basin. He holds a child in his proper left arm and a lantern in his proper right hand. Uniform items include a long belted coat and hat. The basin stands on a foliated stem and the whole work stands within a low basin.
