    Remarks: 
    Commissioned by the City of Sylacauga's Area Council of Arts and Humanities as an Artist-in-Residence project and funded under the Comprehensive Education and Training Act (CETA). The Sylacauga marble was donated by the Moretti-Harrah Quarry. Landscape advice was provided by Phil Huey of the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department and Troy Smithwick, City Engineer. Sculpture was originally intended as a fountain. In 1992, a brick retaining wall and path were added to the site. IAS files include related articles from the Sylacauga News, Dec. 19, 1977 and May 11, 1978, and the Avondale Sun, Sept. 4, 1978.
