Standing figure of a female nude or fawn with small insect wings. She wears a small amount of drapery which flows behind her, gathered at the end in her proper right hand. Her hair is in a loose bun and she stands on a low rectangular base.

Site of sculpture is a garden of The Elms, a historic mansion which houses the Preservation Society of Newport County. This sculpture was purchased in Paris by the original owner of The Elms, Mr. Edward J. Berwind of New York. A bronze version of this work was exhibited in the garden landscape pavilion of the Paris Universal Exposition of 1900.
