    Description: 
    A replica of the Venus de Milo in the center of a fountain. The female torso lacks arms and head, and wears a garment secured around her hips and covering her legs. Small openings around her neck emit water into the basin.

    Remarks: 
    Toni Birckhead conceived the idea of a bicentennial tribute by Dine and worked with Pace Galleries in New York and David N. Tipton Associates to obtain the commission. Tipton purchased the figure for $175,000 for its Centennial Plaza office complex. Centennial Plaza's public ground was designed by Michael Moose of Glaser Associates.
