    Description: 
    A pair of playgrounds located in an interior courtyard includes steel "telephone tubes," bronze drums (which also serve as seats and tables) in several Drum Circles where sound travels underground, large parabolic dishes, and stainless steel palm trees which are played by slapping the ends of tuned pipes. The Drum Circle includes 5 Baha drums of Haitiain origin and conga-shaped drums of Afro-Cuban origin. Suspended in the finials of the fence and embedded in the asphalt of the play area are stainless steel cut-outs of students' and teachers' hands.
