Description:
A female figure stands wearing robes, her proper right arm extending downward holding a grounded torch, her proper left foot extending from beneath the hem of her robes. She has shoulder-length hair and her proper left arm is bent at the wrist, with her index finger brushing her proper left cheek. Beneath her is an inscribed, lower section decorated with a cross in relief around the top of all sides. The sculpture is mounted upon a short, square base.

Remarks:
Sculpture marks the grave of Mollie C. Terry, 1857-1895, wife of Congressman W. L. Terry. IAS files contain transcriptions of two articles from the Arkansas Gazette, July 7, 1895, pg. 16, and July 9, 1895, pg. 8. The former is her obituary and the latter discusses the funeral services.
