    Remarks:
Both saints have a connection to the Rochester area and the Rochester Catholic Diocese. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (1774-1821) founded the Sisters of Charity who founded St. Mary's Hospital during the Civil War. St. John Neuman (1811-1860) was a Redemptorist priest who served in the Rochester/Buffalo area before becoming Bishop of Philadelphia. IAS files contain text of nearby bronze plaques which gives brief biographies of each saint.
