A dog hunting a pheasant. His proper left leg is pulled up and bent from the knee, and he is looking down at the pheasant which is beneath him to his proper left.

This statue was bought by Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge for her estate in Madison, NJ. Purchased on June 18, 1921 for $25.00. Current site is outside the animal shelter founded by her in 1939.
