Ebenezer Flagg, born at Woburn, Massachusetts, October 18, 1704, graduated from Harvard in 1725; ordained September 1736; called to Chester, 1736 at salary of 120 pounds; married Lucretia Keyes, November 15, 1739, married second Mary Gardner, died November 14, 1796." Second label, handwritten: "This likeness of the Revd. Eben Flagg taken in June A.D. 1792, he being in his 88th year of his age by Mr. Mitchel (sic) (copy of old inscription - DCF Sept 19 1918."
