    Description: 
    The memorial features a draped male figure striding forward with his right arm extended, his raised left hand holding an open book at his waist, and his held tilted slightly toward the sky. The sculpture is installed atop a square base that is adorned on each side with semicircular niches containing decorative floral relief carvings.
