Her hair is in a bun. Subject:  Portrait female -- Diane -- Full length Figure female -- Nude Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- Michigan -- Ypsilanti Sculpture Owner:  Administered by Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan Located Eastern Michigan University, Between Ford & Starkweather Halls, Ypsilanti, Michigan Remarks:  "Diane" is named for a woman who modelled for art classes at the University when the artist was a student there. Students occasionally put clothes on the sculpture in the winter. In March, 1985, the sculpture was stolen and remained missing until May 1987. IAS files contain an unpublished excerpt from Einar Kvaran's "Annotated Inventory of Outdoor Sculpture in Washtenaw County," 1989 and a related article from the Ann Arbor Observer, Sept. 1991.
