Dates:  1927. Medium:  Limestone panels mounted on brick walls of the building. Dimensions:  4 panels. Each panel: approx. H. 24 in. W. 59 1/4 in. Inscription:  (East gate, east panel:) INIGO JONES (East gate, west panel:) CHRISTOPHER WREN (West gate, east panel:) MICHELE SANMICHELI (West gate, west panel:) MICHELANGELO BUONAROTI Description:  Four relief panels, each with a center medallion with the bust of a famous architect. On each, the architect's name is in a half circle above the head. The upper part of each panel has foliage sprays, and the lower part has floral swags. A floral wreath encircles the medallion. The architects featured are: Inigo Jones, Christopher Wren, Michele Sanmicheli, and Michaelangelo Buonaroti.
