Remarks:
The sculptor describes this work as an "experiment in decay." Tar forms meant to weather down. Jeff Krueger assisted with the construction of the form; Jose Ayalya cast the piece in tar. At time of SOS! survey in 1994, only one of the three proposed forms had been completed.
