Description:
Seated portrait of Marcus Hanna in a senatorial chair. In his proper left hand he holds a scroll. His proper right arm rests on the arm of the chair. He is dressed in a double-breasted overcoat which is unbuttoned. There is a pile of books and scrolls at the foot of the chair. The sculpture rests on a base adorned with reliefs of cornucopias.
