Description:
Three relief sculptures on the facade of a building. The Farmer and Mechanic each depict standing, shirtless men surrounded by the tools of their trade and fruits of their labor. The farmer stands among bales of wheat, fruit and vegetables and holds a sickle. The mechanic wears a hat and holds pliers and a hammer. He is surrounded by machinery. The Fides relief is a Great Dane in profile who lies on a chest. The corporate seal is incorporated into the relief which is framed by leafy, organic matter. "Fides" is Latin for "fidelity."
