Description:
Cast aluminum reliefs set into textured walls of precast concrete. The reliefs on the south wall relate to the history of the West End neighborhood; the reliefs on the north wall relate to the history of transportation leading up to MARTA. Included are faces of Mace Hamilton, Maynard Jackson, Martin Luther King Jr., and Lt. Henry O. Flipper.

The reliefs were designed by Pastor Martelino (incorrectly identified as Pastor Martinelli in MARTA Station Art Book) and the concrete wall backdrops were designed by architect Darshan Singh. IAS files contain a copy of "MARTA Station Art Book," Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, 1989, pg. 9.
